Hi all. Hope all of you are enjoying your pregnancies.

I was enjoying mine until 2 days ago. On monday my face started to itch. And yesterday it was very itchy. I even had small bumps on those area (to be true don't know it might be rashes). And today have irritation on those areas. The areas where i have itch are my chin, upper lips, high cheek bone and forehead. Normally these areas are the oily parts of my face as i have combo skin. I am currently 19wks 5days. Don't know if it has smthng to do with pregnancy. Has anyone sufered/suffering it?would be grateful for any advise.

Thanks in advance:)

Thank you megzey and laurah.

Hmm it might be heat rash. But like laurah, i never had these before.

The other thing is that i have been taking showers with hot water. As i can't use cold water (have been taking showers with hot water since childhood:P)

Any idea what could soothe it?

cooling yourself. cold flannel or ice pack now and again. doctor gave me some sort of steroid cream to put on my feet and i wear flip flops now so dont get sweaty in this weather.

Rashes are common in pregnancy... There's so many different types caused by various hormones... There is not a lot that a GP will prescribe you during pregnancy but definitely go speak to a pharmacist, they advise you on antihistamine creams etc. I was prescribed a mentholated aqueous cream which is really gentle and soothing x
