glad your not severely hurt and baby is ok. i bet that is scary. did you ask the doctors if it could cause any implications later on? x

try not to worry about it. easier said than done. but worrying could do more harm. try to relax. and take it easy with what you do. hopefully they will repair themselves. x

that is what they said to me take it easy because it is so badly damage I could do more harm to the muscle but easier said then done when you have so much to do x

Try not to worry, your body has plenty of time to recover, get lots of rest but try to keep mobile too as you may get a bit stiff! i know its not the same but i was involved in a nasy horse riding accident 8 years ago, and fractured my spine just above bellybutton level! I have back pain pretty much 24/7 (luckily i didnt damage my spinal cord and am fully able bodied still :o) Im 33 weeks pregnant now, no issues, can have an epidural if i want one and can give birth normally! the human body is an amazing thing x

Glad you're ok. My sister in law was involved in a car crash a week before my nephew was born. Quite bad - she and my other nephew had to be cut from the car. He was born vaginally, and healthy and will be 1 in a few weeks time...

Hi there

You poor thing - a car crash is awful at the best of times! But, as the others have said, I'm sure it will be fine. I've read somewhere that the aminotic fluid etc creates a very sophisticated shock absorbsion system and that you'd have to be really very badly injured for there to be any impact on the baby. The fact that the baby is currently very small is probably a good thing too. All the best with the rest of your pregnancy! xxx

Hello,

My best friend got pregnant after a miscarriage last year, when she was just over 12 weeks after she had had her first scan she was in a bad car crash, sending her and what was left of her car into a near by field needless to say car was a write off, tshe never mentioned another scan and because baby was still so small they couldnt find heart beat with a doppler but at her 20 week scan there he was growing strong, he was born in January this year and he is absolutely perfect
