Piles!! :-(

Bit embarrassing, but I've started getting hemorrhoids. They are quite painful and I think getting bigger. Has anyone else suffered? And perhaps know any recommended treatments?

Anusol!! Get in supermarkets, use glove to apply and should do the trick

After 12weeks mine are started to become more managable. I used lactulose and germaloids to help. Unfortunately I took a reaction to germaloids so ended up just having to put up with them. They will get better, good luck. They are properly a pain in the ass!!

Go to your dr they can prescribe stronger cream with local anesthetic that will numb the area, such a relief! Also I always found soaking in salt baths really help...I have suffered from them from when I first had my daughter nearly 17 years ago, and make sure u have enough and pack one in your bag for hospital cos they may come up with pushing and in hospital if they do ever get you some it will only be anusol which I found not very effective, think it depends on how severely you have them, mine thromobsed (filled up with blood) and was the size of a large grape sooooonp not pleasant, hope you get pain sorted xx

Get a prescribed cream Hun we've all been there so ,don't worry treat them well with cream and don't itch that makes them enflamed. My doctor told me for relief of itching use cold water through the shower head as a massage. X

I was at my first ante natel class yesterday & the midwife said that witch hazel works a treat, douse a cotton wool ball and pop it between your bum cheeks over night next to the pile/s and apparently it will shrink them right down!! Ive never tried but it makes sense, Fingers crossed

Have you had your baby?? If not and you have got them now nip it in the butt now (no pun intended) as they will get horrendous after your labour if not sorted. Speak to your midwife or GP and they will give you a strong cream. Good luck, I totally feel your pain.

Got them on all my three deliveries. VERY painfull specially passing stools (sorry for being so frank) spurts out blood. Mine is a size of a blue berry not as big as a grape. But you still need to go to the GP. They will give you two to three tubes one is a local anaesthetic that you need to apply generously a few minutes before going for it to numb the area (even though it doesn't work as much as you want) second one is to apply afterwards its called rectagisic. Gives you severe headache as soon as you apply it. But works very well with in weeks the haemorrhoids calm down. YES sweets it will take at least some weeks to calm down and at least two months to go away! Just try to keep your stools soft, area clean with cold water, and apply cream as adviced by the GP. The haemorrhoids will subside in time but the dead skin will stay. Last piece of advice never ever get them operated that will never help.

Thanks! It's good to know I'm not alone. I'm 19 weeks pregnant with my second child. I got them with my first too (5 years ago), but not until much later on and they were less irritating! I have a 22 week appointment with gp, so will definitely bring it up then. Until then, I will try the at home remedies! Thanks again for all the advice!

For these hemorrhoids, some people opt the option of operation but with this procedure your only external hemorrhoids will remove not the internal hemorrhoids. So you must go with the safe and best option which is introduced by the Pharma Science, the Indian Ayurveda and the product is Anti Piles which is a complete resolution for your piles problems.
