Advocate flea treatment

I was wondering if it's safe to use when we're pregnant. .I have been using it on my dog but just made me think today that is quite a strong smell..I obviously wash my hands after but my dog likes to sit right next to me and that stuff has a really strong smell! Anyone else use it and is it Ok? X

Just to be on the safe side you should possibly wear some watet-proof gloves.

I personally dont have any pets but a good friend of mine has a dog , but she's fortunate to have her other siblings to take that responsiblity.

I treat my pets with spot on treatment, vet just Said to wash hands after, if you use the treatment for the house, you should get one one else to do this.

Didn't think about ringing vet and asking doh! Thanks x

my best friend is a vet and she said that just use some rubber gloves or something as ideally the stuff shouldn't be going on u it shud be on the pet and she said the smell isn't an issue. x

Vet nurse here, always better to wear gloves as invariable get product on hands and avoid contact with dog around neck area until totally absorbed and dried. Best to do before bed when dogs on own sleeping :) x
