16 weeks tmw and having period pains

Worked it out and I'm around when I should have my period. ..surely this should of stopped by now? Has anyone else experienced this?

Im 14wks on saturday & i get period like pain in my stomach occassionally. Im not too worried about it because it dosent happen every day but when it does happen i do find myself going to the bathroom A.S.A.P to check for any discharge & never see anything.

Are you getting any discharge?

I'm starting to think there'll always be things that will try worry us through pregnancy no matter what we do in preparation.

It just one of those things unfortunately.

No I did last month but these period pains have been niggling for a few hours. .. Yes I'm the same keep checking. .Yes it right it feels like such a scary process day by day week by week month by month. . Just wish I could relax! !! Can't wait til I feel moving properly on a regular basis. .. But then I'm sure I'll worry about my 10 kicks a day. ..

More than likely your uterus stretching! As long as your not bleeding you will for most of the pregnancy have one type of pain or discomfort, fir me now at 33 weeks I don't think I have a day where I have one type of ouchy pain!

I'm 16 wks today too, due 25th October?

And I've been having all sorts of pains!!

Like Skyblue boston said, It's probably where there is activity going on in your uterus. I woke up last Sunday at 5.30am with pains in my uterus and right bum cheek but they went away again. As long a there's no blood, dodgy discharge or the pain becomes severe I reckon you should be fine. You could always ring your midwife for a bit of reassurance. I hope the pains stop soon. xx

Went to docs as had a headache all day too...he checked me over said everything was ok urine, blood pressure, felt my tummy said I've got quite a bump there so reassured me everything is growing ok...and just to take it easy which I have been, doesn't need to ask me twice!
