'Pinging' sensation in stomach muscles. Can anyone else relate to this?

I am 18+3 wks and have been getting the occasional 'pinging' sensation in my upper abdominal stomach muscles, mostly when I am walking. It feels like something is overstretching and I'm concerned that I could be causing some permanent damage. Anyone know what this is?

Sounds a bit like your muscle are stretching. You may experience round ligament pain as you get bigger, I certainly do now ouch!

Thanks for your replies. I thought it was probably something along those lines. It is an odd sensation though :-)
