PSA after one month on lupron
I am 63 with high risk PCa. I was diagnosed with PSA of 30 and Gleason 9 in December. Biopsy and MRI showed all 12 cores malignant with "likelihood of extra-capsular extension". PSMA PET scan showed no mets as of December 15. I began treatment on February 26 with a week of Casodex followed by a Lupron

Platelets Dropping
Is this “normal” or any advice? Undergoing radiation since March, have 22 sessions done, 6 to go. Started Casodex in December to prepare to start Eligard in January. Radiation started in March. My platelets have been dropping. MO said could be due to Lupron and/or radiation. IMRT targets Gleason 9

My husband was diagnosed in Jan. 2022 by his Urologist for Stage 3b Highly Aggressive (label they gave it) prostate cancer, Gleason score of 8, into seminal vessicles, but no mets seen on PET Scan. Received Lupron for 18 months and Casodex 50mg was initiated immediately and continued once a day

Triplet and now Radiation?
Hi all - just wanting your thoughts on this. In my profile you would see full details but I will summarize here. 50yr old diagnosed Aug 2nd with PCA with spread to L5 and pubic bone. Original PSA was around 9 and put on Casodex for month, then Lupron every 3 months, plus Darolutamide. Just completed

Long Journey
Hey Guys, I don’t post on here often and I’m afraid this will be a long post. I have had PCa over 18 years. Started with casodex, Lupron. A few months later, brachytherapy then 42 sessions of EBRT. Over the years PSA would rise, and I would be put on Lupron for 18-24 months. In 2017, PSA started rising

Battling two cancers on two fronts, simultaneously
Has anyone fought PCa and NEPc simultaneously? I have had PCa-classic since 2011. After lupron/lusinipril for years, I began Casodex . Bad reaction, switched to Zytiga. That affected my liver enzymes, so on to Xtandi. It worked well. So, this last August a lump was found under my jaw at the lymph node

Orgovyx + Abiaterone?
I have very high risk prostate cancer (Gleason 9, negative PSMA for spread, MRI suggests possible spread to seminal vessel, PSA in 7s before treatment). Due to cardiac history (stroke and heart attack) MO is being cautious and has started dosing Eligard at 1 Month intervals to make sure I am doing ok

New Developments in My Husband's PCA Journey
Hello, I wanted to provide an update on my husband's progression and, hopefully, some of you may have some knowledge to share or have a similar profile. His psa has risen from <0.04 since RP for Stage 3b to 0.06 in 9/23. A recheck a week later showed a rise to 0.1. This was followed by a drop to <.04

Hi, I’ve been taking Aubagio for almost 6 years now and had been very pleased with the medication. No new plaques or lesions issues were found on my MRIs and I hadn’t noticed any side effects which were caused by the medication. Looking for a Zoom MS support group
Hello MS friends, Does anyone know about a Zoom MS Support Group? I'd love to join one. I lived in western NY state and went to two support groups which were very helpful. My husband and I retired to the coast of Maine and there aren't any in-person support groups that I can find, unless I want

My PSA tripled in 8 months
I had my RP in Jan 31, 2023, started hormonal therapy from April 17 with Diphereline every 28 days plus one Casodex daily. My PSA went down to 0.005 from May to November. Yesterday I had my blood test again and the report indicated my PSA has jumped to 0.159. I am panic. Can you explain what does

Hi- I have posted a few times about my brother who was diagnosed in March 2021. For 18 months he did really well on Abiterone. His PSA went from his initial diagnosis of 52 to under 0.03 for several months. He has Kaiser HMO and unfortunately his oncologist retired at the time his PSA starting trending
