That came out wrong. Is having fibromyalgia a disability under law.

That depends on where you are (different countries have different criteria) and what you want to claim (is this for Benefits, work issues, Blue Badge, insurance claim, etc?)

In the U.K. to claim PIP for example, you must prove HOW your condition affects you, your actual diagnosis doesn’t guarantee you will be accepted for it.

There is no official list/register of medical conditions classed as ‘disabilties’ at least in the U.K. if you are asked ‘Are you registered as disabled’ this usually means ‘Do you claim disability benefit?’ or ‘Are you in possession of a current Blue Badge?’

Can you get a blue badge if you have fibromyalgia I was thinking of trying to get one as I can’t walk far at all xxx
