Relapse?

UPDATE: I talked to my MS specialist Friday and he said more than likely not a relapse, but a flare. He called in a steroid pack and said it was my choice on whether or not to use it. Tingling was fading by the time I got off work Friday, so I did not take it. Thank you for the kind words!!

Hi everyone.... My arms/neck/ hands and finger tips started getting super tingly along with the random electric shock sensation today. my arms are ice cold. All of it is worse on my right arm. I have been more tired the last week or so.

I should add in that single parenting teenagers has been pretty stressful recently, but today in particular, there are somethings that happened that really upset me.

Am I having a relapse?

Hope u feel better. I thought relapse, exacerbation, and flare were essentially same things 🤷‍♀️

I am still new to all this, so I don’t really know. I asked the nurse if this is considered a relapse and she said no, just a flare.

According to google, you are right. The terminology means the same thing. Who knows. I have a follow up with Dr in May. This will be added to the list of questions.
