It’s all in your head!

Find out where your ‘sclerosis is! This diagram* really helped me understand how a bunch of seemingly unrelated things can go wrong all over your body when you have MS. You feel like it’s all in your head. And it is!

Now you don’t have to feel like you’re making things up when you describe how, in a flare-up, your hearing is super-sensitive, you gag on your own saliva, you lurch around the office like a drunken sailor, and your eyeballs start crossing!

I mean, you sound like you’re out of your mind! Until you look at this chart and see all the wires for all these functions are neatly organized in one very small location: your brain.

I had to learn all those nerves in cosmetology. I had a heads up as to where the numbness on my face and hands was coming from before I was diagnosed. I just didn't know it was caused by MS. I was greatful it was just MS...could have been a malignant brain tumor!
