I’m sorry Texas man, but I am thankful you ate Humble Pie and chose to stay with us. And I think you know the raunchy joke someone complained about. But really, if I don’t think your joke is appropriate I just don’t hit like. Goes for post here or FB. Please don’t give up posting jokes! You know the difference between clean jokes and “dirty” jokes - just keep the clean ones coming! We need the laughs. I don’t know how many times I have read one of your jokes to my hubby and he laughed and said,” I gotta tell that one to Mitch (his church buddy).” Now, if your son was about 6 years old again could you tell him? Then tell us-please, please, please!!! (Hey, we have to break our will and wear masks so you can tell clean jokes can’t you?) Here’s one from FB: my son asked me for something hard to write on. I don’t know why he got so mad; sand is pretty hard to write on.
I'm not going to make any comment on the suitability or otherwise of your jokes, but the person who wrote that warning message to you needs to learn how to write - that message is suffering badly from what I call "formalese" - where a not very literate person tries to write what they think is a formal "document" but really makes a mess of it (that's the polite version) and the result just ends up sounding very amateur, with clumsy sentence construction, incorrect words used, and inappropriate use of punctuation.
I suspect the joke you were reported for was probably the one with a member of the clergy lurking in a cupboard - I reckon it probably upset some of the religious fraternity here. No, it certainly wasn't me who reported you - I'm not one of those aforementioned religious types, I've heard far far worse in my lifetime, and there are things posted here on this forum which are far more dangerous to people's health than a very ancient and slightly off-colour joke that's been doing the rounds for a million years.
A..screw them! If they do not understand your intention is to just make us laugh, they should leave the forum or just skip your posts! In the interim, keep the jokes flowing! We all love them, you make us smile.
Love your jokes, my husband does too (yours are the only jokes he would listen to)! But that letter said "replies," and I have never seen your substantive replies. I am sure you know what replies and to whom have been flagged. But please keep your jokes coming!

Wow, I enjoyed reading your stuff! I am not on here that often but you were a consistent supporter as far as I know. I am surprised to say the least! Gee, look at all the other media outlets and what they say... Glad you take it with a grain of salt; hope you do stay in touch.
