Seriously push yourself, harder. Harder than that. Do "YOU" realize what "YOU" just did. Exceeded your limits, drove yourself to a new boundary. Did it feel good? If "YOU" keep doing this who knows how far "YOU" might go. If "YOU" never try, the world has a little box that they want to put "YOU" in. Not a coffin a little box of your limits, that "YOU" as a disabled person are to sit in quietly and not annoy the healthy people. We are all disabled in someway, and the world expects less of us. Twenty-odd years ago, I was expected to be in a wheelchair and dead very soon. I did not accept this, and "YOU" should never accept any limitation put on "YOU" as permanent, or the way that it has to be.

We may have Relapsing-remitting ms (RRms), but the only limitation that we have to accept are our own physical and mental ones. The physical we can train ourselves and work around. I am sure if I really cared I could run again, I do not, so I do not,my choice. I can ride a bicycle, but racing tricycles are so much cooler and do not require any balancing effort, so I ride my Trike, again my choice. I am sure there are other things that I do and do not do, but they are my choice. Do not let others put limits on your ambitions or abilities. Push yourself to accomplish what "YOU" want to do and achieve. Our ms life has far too many variables to let yourself ever be limited. Even with the strongest Disease-Modifying Therapy (DMT) nobody can guarantee what tomorrow might bring. Whyever would "YOU" allow you dreams to be limited. I am not suggesting that "YOU" be reckless, but perhaps find another way to do what "YOU" want. I am thinking more skydiving, and there is tandem, static-line and indoor. A nice calm donkey ride down the Grand Canyon might be fun. I am never going to go into space, but I am sure there is a virtual reality ride somewhere. I know there are virtual cars that "YOU" can drive. I think a Ferrari through Monaco might be fun.

We are incurably disabled, but with some imagination and planning, there is so much that we can do. Do not limit yourself, reach for the stars. Accept three feet up, but never stop dreaming and reaching. RRms is a cunning fellow, and it wants to limit "YOU" in every way possible. Accept this, then find a sneaky way around it. Every time that "YOU" find a way to achieve your goal, YOU WIN, ms losses. Learn about ms, expect the unexpected.

Royce (the ms writer)

I like it when RRms losses and I WIN, it makes me feel better

You can go in your virtual Ferrari ride, and let me know when you find it, because I would love to go in a virtual F16 ride! I agree with you, push beyond your boundary, you might surprise yourself at what you an accomplish, and after all, YOLO! Wheeeee :-D

the F116, been there done that F18 actually. I had great fun in a simulator back in the 80's care of the Royal Australian Air Force and a drinking mate. Ahh those were the days now I understand when old people (me) say youth is wasted on the young.:-)

I also went on a F18 simulation when I was at an air show. It left a lot to be desired. And I agree with you in that youth is wasted on the young! :-D

Mine was on an Air Force base, hosting the Blue Angels (Yes, Navy), and the simulator was located next to F117, guarded by a Marine! :-D
