Cold Sores

My immune system has been a complete wreck for a month now. I have been on steroids due to hives, an allergic reaction, and a relapse. I just developed 3 cold sores yesterday. I got one in the morning by evening I had another one and then that night I got the 3rd one. I am really starting to wonder if I am going to get any better but to keep my kids especially my daughter from worrying I always make jokes and goof off about it. I had them laughing so hard last night. I yelled o my goodness I have herpes now and then I told them how the cold sore meds tasted worse than baby food. I guess once these 12 days are over of Prednisone we will see if anything else decides to go wrong.

Hi..idk..ive got those cold sores since kindergarten..a few of my boys get them also.is it something in our system about this ms ..idk i think way back in my life to the odd health things tht have happened to me..cold sores hate them prob get one just talkn about it lol no its note a laughing matter but for ever the best thing for me to put on them is camphofinic..spellin hmm wrong hope u know whar i mean in a luquid green bottle..

I started Valtrex for this after my Neuro told me it would subside, dermatologist told me I had rocia and then my primary laughed and said it's herpes. Took the Valtrex for 30 days and it cleared up. I now take it everyday to ward it off.
