It’s all okay, don’t worry

I realized what a downer I have been. I want you all to know that I will be fine. Life happens! But I am very happy, and move forward everyday. I find joy in so many things, one of those things being this wonderful family. So apologies for sounding like a downer. Life is beautiful! Kelly

He Kelly,

I have a similar situation, my husband descided he did not want to take care of me, not that he ever has really, I drive, shop and do everything myself. He found a new woman on Facebook, actually 2. He told the people at church that he couldnt take care of me. He told others that he fell in love with new woman. He actually is one of those who never moves to the next level. He cheated on his ex all the time, so he always had someone to be “in love with”. With me I did not allow that and kicked his ass out. He is staying in a roach motel, and I am in his house while mine is being painted and new floors being put down.

We have been married for 8+ years, about 7 of that he was in depression, and I had to do everything and I do mean everything including taking care of him. He’s no prize.

I am excited to get in my own house and get away from here. I have to wait until my house updates are complete and new fence and dog ramp is built (i have a blind dog). I expect it will be a month more as contractors are slow. Maybe not even then if my lawyer says don’t go. He thinks we are getting a quick divorce since I filed on adultry. But I dont think that will happen...payback is hell😁

You couldn't be a downer if you tried. We're like family here (a healthy one) and we care about one another. I'm so glad you shared what was going on with you.

That's what we're here for...rants and laughs. Sometimes you have to rant before you can laugh. It might not seem like it right now but things will get better.

Life is beautiful so get out there, enjoy, make the most of every day, and as we all agree, that you are family, and this family supports, loves and cares, so we are here for all of us. Send us some pics of the beauty you see, blessings Jimeka 🙏 🦋 🍫

Sometimes we are up and sometimes we are down. I'm grateful I can come here and share the ride, whichever direction it's going at the moment. No apologies needed. I don't want to be part of a group where we're only allowed to spread sunshine, even if we have to fake it. I'm glad we can be real about where we are and find the love and support and understanding here that only those of us on this MS journey fully get. For whatever difficulties we're having, the kind that everyone in life has, ours has the additional weight of living with MS and the effect that all our circumstances has on our symptoms and our life. I think it's exciting that you're getting your own house. And good for you for kicking his a** out! You deserve better.

You have had more than your share of things to deal with and if anyone deserves a little down time it is you! I have admired your strength through it all. Remember, you are not alone. I am glad to hear you say that you will be fine because that is what I believe, Stay strong.

You're hardly a downer.

Everybody has their tough times and this is a good place to vent to others that share some of your struggles.

Amore55 I love to hear from you, good, not so good or indifferent. When you need a shoulder to cry on, a hand to help you up, a ray of sunshine to brighten your, or a smile, many in this forum are here to oblige. If you need, go ahead and ask. If you can spare one, then go ahead and share! :-D

Keep Smiling, Kelly,

Carole :-D

No worries! That is why we are all here. We understand. We know. We go through it too. We are with you.

All our lives are impacted by daily struggles with and by the people and things around us, and we live with MS. Good Grief, Girl, we, and you, can handle anything that comes!
