Glad this week is behind me.

It's been a long month this week! It started out with a phone call from our neighbor's husband from Dallas at 6:45 am (we are 4 hours away in Arkansas). His wife, Deni, had called him frantic because she went to have coffee with her mom and found her passed away in her recliner. We ran down to "Mama's" house and found Deni crying her eyes out because she just lost her mama. We all live close on10 acres. Of course, Mama was still in her chair. We were there before the ambulance was. Her Mom was a great lady. She had just turned 89 the week before. She had told me a couple of weeks before that she was ready to go see heaven and couldn't wait to get there. When the coroner got there our other neighbors took Deni over to her house. My husband had to help the coroner get the body out of the chair onto the gurney because the coroner's helper was sick. It's a small town. Both my husband and the coroner have bad backs and just as they got her lifted up to the gurney it decided to start rolling away and they almost dropped her. It was a sad long day! Then Thursday my daughter called to tell me she had been in the emergency. She thought it was back pain but ended up being a kidney infection. They did a CT Scan and found a 1" cyst on her ovary and a possible mass on her kidney. Because of the inflammation, they couldn't really tell so she has to go back in 2 weeks for another CT Scan. Then today we had to attend a memorial service for another relative that had passed 2 days after Christmas in the same way as Deni's Mom. She was in her recliner in the assisted living facility. The nurse had given her her meds & the next morning when she came to check on her she had passed. I'm praying for a better week starting on Sunday!

Hi hairbrain4 what happened to your daughter ? Did she need surgery or remove cyst? Is it big? Having back pain and ultrasound show cyst on kidney, need to do ctscan next wk

The dr didn't want to do surgery. She more scans & it turned out to not be a but a fatty mass. They are watching it & if it starts to grow then they will decide if surgery is needed. She seems to be doing ok now. Praise God!
