"YOU" do have a plan don't "YOU"? Just breathing another day is a good start but it is not really a plan. Okay "YOU" have decided on your Disease Modifying Therapy(DMT), "YOU" have an eating plan that "YOU," think is healthy and "YOU" can stick to. Amazon has the cutest protective underwear on order and "YOU" are awaiting your delivery, better to be safe than sorry. For us Blokes, Fellas, Lads they do just have grey thankfully.
Now to the serious stuff, exercise, Core and walking in particular. The msgym.com is a great resource, especially for newbies, but I would think anybody can learn something. There is that word again "LEARN". My friend, "YOU" thought your school days were over, they have just started.
Here is your first lesson. ms is a lifelong chronic condition. It is not necessarily disabling and there are some things that can be recuperated from. "she who must be obeyed" found that a course of IVIG to be very helpful. She drives now after having not driven for years. Lesson over, it lasts until we are no longer here, it is chronic. "YOU" do not have to be in a wheelchair a nursing home, alone or any other thing that "YOU" may fear, or people tell "YOU". I will say in writing that Yes this is a bit or a surprise and rather inconvenient at times, but smile it is not going to kill "YOU" It is only Relapsing Remitting ms (RRms) it is sort of is a big deal, but a deal that with a plan even just an idea. "YOU" can get up every morning and face head-on. Just take a little time and make yourself a plan. Your very own "LIFE WITH ms SURVIVAL PLAN" WRITE IT DOWN IN PENCIL AS "YOU" will find yourself needing to make changes over your very long ms life.
We all have a very long ms life ahead of us, do not waste it. Have a plan for some goals. That way "YOU" have something to put in your positive memories vault and learn this disease. How it affects "YOU" how it actually works, some positive meditations, some core exercises. How to walk with poles, I still can't but I do not really care about walking like a drunk, it makes for amusing conversations.
Learn your condition, set some goals, get some great memories. This is a long journey, prepare yourself for it, and go forth and live it to your best. Avoid regrets and what-ifs. Just try, try, try and eventually "YOU will "DO". Remember no matter how challenging this in 2018 is a "DOABLE" condition.
