Oh many are with you....Lately I haven't been on because I have felt, near death, unable to walk, vertigo, angry for NO reason and for many.1 we dont really understand much of the disease process and cant do a lot about anything except pray...my mind says I can do this my body says no....than it hits all of it..really not a whinnerbut the ricochet of every minute...sadly and in anger energy used.Checked hormones(they are always blamed) vitamins, weather...but its me...it is one emotion among many this spotted brain has. Most of what works is to let it out in a better way, arts and such, pray ALOT and finally repeat as much as needed outload...THIS TOO SHALL PASS...THIS TOO SHALL PASS.....it will come back but so will happiness and joy....

Your not alone - I have told my coworkers to let me know when I begin to cross the line with them - to hold up their hand in the "Stop Signal" if the feel I'm crossing that line with them. As usually I have the thought "that wasn't necessary" afterwards, and then I have to apologize. It's as if during those times I'm not even aware of my escalating anger. Really frustrating for all. I used to be nice! Now I have to work on that all the time. Is there a pill for this - lol?

Rosey,

You are clearly not alone in this. I am fortunate that I’m home alone every day during the week and the only person who gets berated by me is me. I’m sure there are pills we could take, but who wants to be a zombie?

When I think about it, I’d rather feel rage than nothing at all. Hang in there! Remember to breathe and remember to apologize.

Best wishes.

It's normal. Let me ask you.

Are you a religious person?

Do you have a pet?

Do you exercise?

Not to be nosy are you on anti-depression meds?

Do you need to try one or which to another?

Do you have a vitamin/mineral cocktail that you take daily.

When was the last time you had a massage?

These are just a few thoughts.

May GOD bless you!!!

Not a religious person but I do believe I'm God and I do Pray. I exercise. I do have pets. 😊 I'm not on any anti depression meds. I do suffer from depression and was Diagnosed with bipolar but until I get insurance again I can't afford those meds. Open enrollment is just around the corner. ☺❤🌷

I'm proud of you! You are trying. Prayer truly can help. Ok, great you know you have a problem w/depression. How about applying for a schlorship w/the drug company your Dr. says would work best for you?

I believe in God and I have seen Him work miracles. I just feel I have fallen outside God’s Grace. I have a cat, but she is not a great caregiver like my cat that passed away. I don’t exercise. I have been on antidepressants since my diagnosis in 1999. When I told my Dr they weren’t doing anything he said “oh you would be so much worse if you weren’t taking it. It’s kind of like a DMT, you can’t tell it’s working.” I take vitamin D and krill oil. It creeps me out to think about some stranger rubbing my body all over.

It is impossible to fall out of the grace of the Lord Jesus if you have accepted him. G*D, never moves. He is constant and everlasting. However, human beings are all over the place.

Sounds like you need to find a new doctor. I mean really who says that??

Call the MS society in your area get a few names. Then check them out online.

Then make an appointment. Don't feel stuck or alone. I will be your cheerleader.

HUZZAH!!!!

You have very right to be angry. Cry. Shout. Do whatever you need. But, don't get stuck. Can I ask you a question?

Do you like to cook?

I have had my Dr since 2005. He was one of the first Drs in Dallas to treat MS and fibromyalgia. After 13 years changing Drs would mean getting all new prior authorizations for the 14 RXs I have taken for years. The new Dr. would be forced to make me try cheaper alternatives, since they wouldn’t have any of my medical records unless I paid by the page to have them copied. My file is 2 feet tall, so I couldn’t afford to transfer them to a new Dr. The only insurance company on the marketplace the past 3 years does not include ANY of the many MS clinics and specialists in Dallas. I did recognize the name of the Dr who treated my mom in the hospital when she had a stroke in 2014. He is a neurologist true, but he doesn’t specifically treat MS. The Dr I have now is out of network so I already have to pay $169 out of pocket for each visit.

The marketplace only offers insurance from one company so you can’t choose a plan that your Dr. accepts. I don’t qualify for ANY off the marketplace plans because I have so many Pre existing conditions. I feel lucky that they have paid half of my premiums for 4 years, but no way could I have plan without the government supplement.

The crappy insurance plan is another reason I can’t get the professional mental health treatment I have needed for years. The in network psych Drs are all in other cities, even though there are neurological mental health specialists in my neighborhood who treat MS. My Dr looked at the list of names that were in network and said he didn’t recognize a single one. He said I can’t refer you to someone I have never even heard of. (He has been treating MS since 1980, so he knows most Drs names in his field and neuropsychology or MS mental health specialists.
