I have been checking the medicare.gov website and the hospital's website where I am scheduled to see my new Neuro and I don't see his name listed anywhere. Today I called Medicare to find out because my appt. is next month. They said that they use the same sit to check for dr approval but told me to call the doctor's office to find out if they accept it and he does! It may just be that this doctor is too new to the hospital/or this area that he has not been added to the site yet. The neuro I was supposed to see is still listed on the site but she is no longer there so I needed to make sure. Just relieved to find out that this doctor does accept Medicare and my appt. will be covered!

It sure is! I was worried I was going to have to tell the office I needed a different doctor but apparently, all the Neuro's at the hospital in this office accept Medicare according to the lady on the phone
I am happy for you, make sure you make a list of everything you want to ask him/her so that you don’t forget anything thing and also write down the answers I don’t know about you but these days I have been forgetting things.
