MSAA’s Annual Art Showcase Call for Submissions

OK, Calling all of you artists, and I know we've got many among our MS Forum. It's time to submit your work for consideration. You just might be an "Artist of the Month!" Even if you are not selected, we would all love to see your creations. Many of you have seen my crochet items, but you all don't know I used to dabble in painting. I tried oil paints, but changed to water colors as I love the softness of them. I'm going to post mine here, but not submit them. At least I don't think so.. Hope you all submit for the Art Show case, and maybe post here for all to see.. I know you are out there.

Call for Submissions

Go Ahead and check out the information & requirements to prepare for later on this year when there will be a "call for submissions." I misunderstood some info. In the meantime, would love to see your artwork. Maybe all under the heading "Artwork" and we'll get a leader heading off to the right.. Let's see your stuff!!

Jesmcd2 I’m just full of surprises! You’d laugh at some of my earliest works. I won a poster contest in Jr high. The whole town voted on posters that were “Posted” in store windows around our small town. The rest is history, never lost my interest in painting.

MSAA is actually not currently accepting submissions for the Art Showcase, but we will be sure to let everyone know as soon as the submission period opens later this year.

In the meantime, we would absolutely love to see any of the artwork our talented members are willing to share in the comments of this post!

MSAA_Staff thanks for the information Emily, I mis-understood info. How do we post additional artwork in our replies?

My mistake - I thought you could reply with photos, when it appears that you cannot.

For everyone to share their artwork, they would need to create their own posts with the pictures in them.

Thank you! Great compliment. That's one reason I took a grouping photo, I really want others to apply when the opportunity becomes available. I know we have some wonderful, creative folks out there. We need to all start posting our paintings so maybe we can get a heading under Artwork!

Thank you Ken, they were done some time ago and just recently decided to think about matting/framing them. I have one more of a cottage that is my dream place to live. Actually, many more that were more trial and error to get to where I could achieve what I did.
