Feet falling asleep

I have to ask you do your feet fall asleep I know that’s a silly question but this is only happened to me twice. Since I was diagnosed with MS and I was diagnosed in 2004. I can’t remember the last time this has happened to me. And my right hand is more flexible. Could this be the Ocrevus ??? I was just wondering if you know that tingling feeling you get when they fall asleep. ???

Yes I know that tingly feeling when you’re feet go to sleep 💤 It kinda hurts as they come back to life 🤷🏼‍♂️ Only had it happen a couple times. I always have pins and needles feeling in my feet, but does not effect my walking 🤷🏼‍♂️ Sorry no info on Ocrevus🤷🏼‍♂️ 🙏🤷🏼‍♂️🐾🐩 Ken

Yes, they fall asleep much easier than they used to. I have to be careful of positioning...

My right leg, my weak one, if in the wrong position, goes to sleep, to the point of numbness. As Kenu says, it hurts as it is waking up, I don’t like to walk on it until it is fully awake again, 🦋 🍫

jimeka , how very kind of you to ask. I'm doing all right though I've been fairly busy. I hope to be able to be here more often. I'd add a smiley face of some kind but it doesn't seem to be possible on my PC.--Edited to add: I found out that I'd need to use a smartphone or an iPad to have access to the emoticons. Not everyone has those. I do have an iPad but find it difficult to post anything on it. Vision and dexterity problems get in the way. However, I'll keep in mind that when I want to use an emoticon here, I'll use the iPad.

agate so good to hear from you. My hubby has just treated me to a larger iPad which has a larger keyboard, much easier to use. These days it’s hard to keep up with the technical world, my eldest grandson gives me lessons on how to work things. Although I must admit that email is a lot easier than writing letters. Being right handed and it’s the right side that is affected, typing on the iPad with my left hand is a lot easier than writing. It’s amazing how the brain can be trained to do new tasks after all these years. Many blessings to you, Jimeka 🦋 🤗

jimeka Here is a link I came across recently - it explains how to change your iPhone to one handed typing. Haven’t tried it on my iPad yet but might be worth trying! -Kris

I think I might give it a try also. My Iphone has the talk to text feature, which I use allot. But then, I have to double check and add in punctuation if I don't say it as I use it.

My. Feet have tingling like when happens when a limb will s “waking up” from being “asleep” My neuro says for me it is neuropathy. I am on 1200mt Gabapenin 3 times a day. It’s the maximum dose. My left foot is worse than my. Right. And, no it is not ocrevis as I am not on that med. t take Abagio. My feet have been this way since 2014.. I hope this helps.

I have 300 mg Gabapentin that I can take up to 8 a day. 2400 mg, yet feel tingling all the time. I can't imagine what it would be without Gabapentin and the Baclofen I take.

The left side of my body, from head to toes, (outer side of face, neck, arm, hand, side, leg and two outer toes) has been feeling like that for around 35 years. It gets stronger the more stressed that I get.

My big question was do your feet fall asleep because my feet have not fallen asleep in years but I have had my feet fall asleep 4 times In two weeks which may be the Ocrevus is doing something and one more thing I can snap my fingers and my right hand is not as tingling as it has been. It would be a good thing if my feet would start to wake up.

If this is the Oculus this would be a good thing.

My right foot used to fall asleep a lot when I was on Copaxone now that I think of it but not so much since I have switched to Tecfidera. Not sure if it is coincidence or not. Just realized that my foot hasn't fallen asleep in awhile as it used to at least once a week for quite awhile and it would hurt until it would 'wake up'.

My feet have always been in a stage of Numbness, tingling since June 28, 2016. When I sit at the kitchen table or out to eat, it gets worse. Feels similar to when you whack your "crazy bone" in your elbow. The only time they feel much better is when I give them a soak in warm water or in the bathtub. Not sure about the Ocrevus, that might be a question for the doc.

I am not sure what is going on but for my feet to fall asleep after so many years of not falling asleep is just too strange if that is the proper word. I just don’t know if that’s a good thing?

Call your Neuro ssdw1958 or send them an email, asking them if this is a normal reaction.

You know we can't give you med. Advice hun.😊 But personally I would definitely keep your feet and hands moving as much as possible tho.

I’m feeling ok today the temperature is not so cold the storm we were supposed to get fell apart once it hit the Boston area. We did got snow but once they plowed the streets what ever came down it just melted. We still have about a foot of snow ❄️ on the grassy areas. I saw that the end of next week it is going to be in the low 50’s yeah.
