So I went in for my refills and to get a referal to a new neuro which my doctor had no problem giving me when I told him I wanted to go see Dr. Anagnos because I had met her when my ex saw her and I really liked her. He asked 'aren't they in the same office' and I said yes but Dr. Wald's bedside manner is less than desirable and it's time for change and he said I will get you a referral to Dr. Anagnos Then we started talking about how I thought I had a sinus infection and I thought over the weekend I may have a uti as well when a knock on the door got him called out of the room. Next thing I knew the office was pretty much cleared out and I was pretty much left sitting there. Went to look out in the hallway when I seen my doctor come back into the office and I asked if he forgot about me which I think he did. He quietly said there was a bed bug scare that the women didn't want to be in the office so they moved everybody to the downstairs office and an exterminator was being called in. He didn't think it was that bad though but to be safe and calm the ladies down they had moved everyone else downstairs. So he will be having the urine run to see if I do in fact I do have a uti and prescribe the appropriate antibiotic for both infections along with refills. Also, weight is down a little bit too. Almost forgot...lost another 6 pounds since starting Tecfidera about a year ago but my doc didn't seem concerned. Will definitely bring up with new Neuro.

Hi. My day today has been really really good. Last Thursday my family and I went on a vacation to Great Wolf Lodge. It was an awesome vacation!!! I rode all the water rides which wore me out but I had a blast! This MS messed with my head but I'm trying to look at the bright side of things. 😊
Thanks so much jimeka I look forward to seeing her! If it is a uti, which I believe that is what I have, I hope we will nip this thing in the bud early with the sinus infection too! Tired of these non-migraine headaches lately with the pressure that makes my head want to explode sometimes Can't wait to feel 'somewhat' normal back to normal again!
Saturday I went to lunch with an Aunt and Uncle who were out from Montana. I just found out about them about 7 years ago. He is my mothers brother. So low and behold he had invited his sister and her husband and two kids, so I found out I had two other cousins and they all have lived in the same county as me. I'm sixty and just found two cousins half my age. Small world. I'm glad your appointment went so well, hopefully you will feel better. Those uti's are a pain and so bothersome. Glad you got help.
That is very cool about finding family that lives close and you had lots of fun! Hopefully you can keep in touch and do more fun things together! Now I'm just waiting for my rxs to get called in! Haven't heard anything yet.
bxrmom if oral antibiotics don’t kick your sinus infection, I recently learned you can have antibiotic/steroid mix compounded and use it as a nasal rinse. I’ve had sinus issues for over 25 years and 2 sinus surgeries..can’t believe it was just now suggested to me. It is working great for me so far.
Wow, have never heard of that before Qt314grl ! Thanks so much! I just called my doctor's office for another round of antibiotics because the sinus pressure on my head on my right ear is pretty bad still and today is the last day of my Z-pack. I should hear something back from the office today as to what the doctor wants to do the lady said. Also, they are only open until 12 pm today. Hopefully, he decides that a full week of antibiotics is better than 5 days but we will see. Have been dealing with sinus infections since I moved to MI in 2012, don't know what is different here than when I lived in MI my whole life?
