Hospice was brought in just the other day because she wasn't doing well and couldn't get comfortable no matter what. Last night they stopped her night time feeding in hopes to help her rest better. About 5:20am this morning my grandpa received a call that she had passed. They had just got back from WI yesterday evening from seeing her and I think she held out to see him one last time and knew it was okay to go.
I didn't make the trip back to WI with them because I didn't have anyone to watch my dog then and I'm not going again because I don't know how long they will be gone this time with the funeral...I have my dog, my health, and they have a court date this Wed that they were going to do by phone anyway with all the estate/guardian stuff. With all the unknowns I figured it was best for me to just stay home as much as I wanted to go. She only wanted immediate family at the funeral, nothing big like my great grandpa had.

My great grandma had congestive heart failure and a lot of pain from her arthritis (she was 96 years old). She is now whole again, free of the horrible daily pain that she couldn't get rid of though her therapist says pt was helping some. I know that her and my great grandpa have been reunited along with her daughter (my aunt), my cousin, and all grandma's siblings that past before her (there were many) have been reunited and there is a big reunion going on up in heaven right now. I can just picture it now

Bxrmom, I am so sorry for your loss. Try to know your great-grandmother is in a better place and she is no longer suffering. Don't beat yourself up over the circumstances surrounding her death and funeral. We can only do what we can do. And those of us with MS need to make sure we keep on the top of that to-do list is the priority of taking care of ourselves first. It is a hard fact to accept but we are left with little choice when is Monster attacks us. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I am sending a big electronic hug to you through this connection.
So sorry for your loss. She suffers no more and is in the Loving arms of our Lord. She would understand your not making the trip. How wonderful that she waited to see her love before she went home to Heaven. Sending you love, hugs and prayers of comfort. 🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕
