Amazing! Did you also feel it? Here in California, we get quite a few earthquakes. I don't always feel them.

No I didn’t feel it but I did hear it I live in a very quiet area. About a month ago my husband was home and he said do you feel that I thought it was my MS and he said no so I looked at my water bottle and the water was moving. You know when you have MS you think everything that moves is your own tremor I guess not.

Ugh I don't like earthquakes! 1st 1 I ever felt was in Alaska in high school. The sent me to the nurse, cause they thought I was going to pass out. 🤤😭🤣

I was living in Cali when they had the big one and the bridge crashed in L.A. CalfeeChick 😭 i was in Chula Vista.

I will take an earthquake over a tornado any day of the week. We had earthquakes when i lived in Reno, NV. Then i moved to Texas and living in Tornado alley was an eye opener! The roof came off the house next to me last year and i was told it was just a wind storm and not even a tornado! Eek! 🌪🌪

I thought you were going to say your bed sprung a leak. But I think being thrown out was probably worse.

Wow! How scary. Here in Central kentucky they are very very seldom felt and practically never happen. We do set on a big fault line and we are due to have a major earthquake. Yuck.

ssdw1958 Jesmcd2 Midgey_Midge06 How interesting reading all the comments about earthquakes and our experiences with them. I have almost always lived in northern California (near Reno) or in Central CA near Sacramento. I was usually in a car when we had earthquakes in n. CA and didn't feel them. I was working at a lighting fixture store when we had a really big one in 1980 in Central CA. Can you imagine all those fixtures swaying and my getting customers out of the store as quickly as I could. Boxes of fixture in the storeroom fel off of shelves. My boss, who was at lunch at the time, was very happy that I handled things well, and got a little $ raise. Another time, I was laying in the bathtub and water sloshed all over.. too scary to even think of trying to get out of the tub. When the big ones hit the LA area, I was in N. CA and when the Loma Prieto took out the SF Bay Bridge, I was on a trip to Disneyland in LA. 1989.. I was in a near Tornado in Davenport, IA that scared me much more than any earthquake, and a Class ! Hurricane in Charleston, SC. I'll still take an earthquake over any of those.😃😃😃

Ohhhh.. I had just had my oldest and in Chula Vista, when the big one hit in 89. CalfeeChick 🙁 It was horrifying.

One earthquake I was in an elevator in San Fran. 😟 And one I was tossed out of my bed, waterbed. 😒😂🤣😂

Went thru the blizzard here in N.Y.

Water spouts in Bermuda.

Tornados FLIPPEN here in N.Y.

Oh yeah and hurricane warnings in Mississippi

😐😒 I can't win.🤣

🤗💕

I have been thru earthquakes in Northern Nevada. We had a few 4 or 5’s in the city and 7’s i think in Verdi.

I wud totally rather be in an earthquake over a tornado or hurricane. We had a tornado touchdown in Dallas and one here. Took the roof off the house next to me. Scariest moment ever!

Hi Calfeechick I haven’t heard from you in a long time how are you doing. So far no more earthquakes but this passed winter we were having NorEasters and a Blizzard in there we lost the power do 35 hours but who’s counting oh yeah me it was a bit chilly towards the last 15 hours but it came back on and then my furnace designed it wasn’t going to work to make a long story short it cost about $300.00 to fix it good thing my husband was working overtime well that money fixed the furnace.

But how have you been. I hope all is well with you and your family.
