vacationgirl yes, mine do at times, like right now! We went out to finish our Christmas shopping and it is cold and misty. The lower part of my legs feel like they are wrapped in cement.

vacationgirl please share if anyone does have any ideas. My left leg feels as though it has a band wrapped around under the knee and it feels so heavy. I think it's hard to explain until you have actually experienced it. Blessings Jimeka 🎄

I have the exact same band around my left knee. It's locked. It has been that way for nine months or more. Ugh. I made myself get on the elliptical, how I don't know, but after two times in two days it seems like it is lessening. That standing up round motion maybe? But I also think that I had a relapse and I'm coming out of it (I hope). I just know it sucks really, really bad.

SometimesCrazy first of all I must apologise, it it my right leg. My brain is really playing tricks with me. May I ask what is an elliptical? I hope that you are coming out of the relapse. Blessings Jimeka 🎄

I tried to respond to just you. The elliptical is a great low impact exercise machine. You stand on it, two separate sides for your feet, and it does a slow round forward movement like you are walking. You can go as fast or slow as you want. I put mine away for too long. Google it. I think you can rent them in some areas.

A lot of people use this machine for knee physical therapy.

I have MS too. Have your doctor prescribe Baclofen. It helps with spasticity; loosens up muscles.

There is capsaicin cream. You must be careful not to rub your eyes your lips or anything but what you want. WASH YOUR HANDS TWICE. My husband rubbed it in my back, washed his hands, then went to the bathroom s hours later. Ouch!! Lol

I know that feeling well. I'm still working full time. Fortunately I have a desk job since I'm not walking so good any more. But often at night when I'm relaxing, watching tv, my lower legs hurt, especially the left. It feels like cement as you put it. It's that numb-but-painful feeling. I have gabapentin but I've found I have memory problems when I take it on a regular basis. It also tends to make me walk more wobbly for some reason. It's for nerve pain. But what helps the most is the TENS unit that I bought on Amazon for about $35. It's an electrical nerve stimulator that gently zaps you. Sounds strange, but it feels better than the painful cement feeling. It feels better generally if I get up and move around too. Sometimes just sitting too long makes it worse.
