Fighting the good fight!

Hello everyone, I hope all of you had a blessed Thanksgiving! I have been reading some posts off and on when I can, However, I have been extremely busy with PT, Stem cell infusions every 21 days and a diet regiment that have conference calls twice a week. I baked all day the Tues. before Thanksgiving and traveled the Wed. 2 celebrate with family in another state. I had a wonderful time! Pretending 2 be normal always catches up with me! We drove back on Sat., and had family photos on Sunday. I could barely shower today! PT tomorrow and Thurs., travel 2 Mississippi on Wed for a stem cell infusion, + MRI at the end of week. Doesn't it seem like it never stops! I have 2 have surgery on what I call my good leg because I tore my meniscus from falling so much in the beginning of my MS diagnosis! I count my blessings because there is always someone worse off than I am. I witness it on the news, a documentary, social media, etc. We are all MS warriors fighting the good fight!

Blessings to all!

Sonya

lexsarset Stem cell treatment. There was a program about it the other night here in the uk. My hubby watched it with great interest. Please will you keep us informed as to how you got into it, in fact the whole process. I am really interested in how you respond to the treatment. I hope and pray that it works for you. Blessings Jimeka 🦋 🌈 💐

lexsarset sorry, I hope and pray that your surgery goes well. Is the diet meetings to do with your work or your stem cell treatment? Sorry, not being nosy, just interested, as I am sure we all are. 🐘 🐘 🐘 No icon for heralding elephants !!

The diet was before I began Stem Cell therapy. However, it helps. I am on a herbal program with the SCT.

Hi Jimeka, 1 of my classmates' husband has been living with MS for 20 yrs. He could not feed himself anymore nor brush his teeth. He began taking Stem Cell infusions and was able to stand and dance with his daughter for her wedding in Oct. This stem cell txt is approved in the states because our immune system does not have 2 be suppressed. Fat cells are removed from our bodies, harvested in a lab to form stem cells and then put back into our bodies through an infusion process. So far, everything has been good. I am doing things I have not done in the past at PT. My balance is awesome. I am looking forward to my MRI this week. It is my 1st one since I began Stem cell infusion. I would like 2 see if there will be any difference. I am hoping and believing that this will work. I am not on any DMT. Thanks! Will keep you inform.

Blessings

@lexlarset I had someone ask me about this today. I am very interested in the this. Iss the cost covered by Medicare or do you have private insurance? Where can you find more information about this? I didn't know it was out of the trial stage. It sounds very promising.

Hi cljones, I have private insurance and stem cell therapy is an out of pocket expense because it has not been approved by the FDA as txt. However, other countries have been doing it for yrs and are ahead of the game. I travel 3 hours to another state for txt. You can google PX restoration or Brio Lab.

@lexsarset Thanks for the information. I was afraid it was out of pocket and not covered by insurance. Maybe some day insurance will cover it, then it might be an option for me.

I tried google Brio Lab or PX restoration but I don’t think I located the correct information. I have private insurance.
