Had to put our kitty down so soon after Daisy

We are very sad at our house. As you know, we had to put our beloved schnauzer down three weeks ago. Then I had to take our dear kitty in to the vet two days ago. He was not acting right, he was shredding books and peeing in the living room. It turned out he had a neurological disorder which cannot be treated. We just can't believe we have lost two dear animals so close. And now we are scared because our two remaining schnauzers and our affenpinsher are all getting old. But we do have Maddy, a little border terrier puppy. We will be going this weekend to look for another puppy or young dog as well as a kitty cat.

Jimeka, thank you. Many, many tears have been shed. The cat and the puppy were best friends, always wrestling and sleeping curled up together. Poor Maddy is looking for Paddy the cat.

I just found a picture of my kitty Princess. Who was 18 before l had to put her down. I still miss her and it's been 6? Yrs or so. Hang in there Kelly💕

I'm so sorry to hear this Amore55 😢

I know how difficult this is. Several yrs ago, We lost 2 beloved dogs and 2 birds within 1 1/2 years.

Then fate brought me our next greyhound, Jonah. I met him several days after our last greyhound Tressa unexpectantly died.

I stopped on my morning jog to pet him with tears streaming down my face. The woman walking him said he needed a new home and much to my husbands surprise, I brought him home that day.

Kelly, so sorry for both your losses. I feel how much that must hurt. Our pets are so much a part of our family and our lives. When I lost my lab on new years eve I thought I would never stop crying. And I still cry when I think of him. But its ok, we grieve and thank God we love again and again.
