Ask Me Anything – Details and Guidelines

MSAA’s Ask Me Anything with MS Expert, Dr. Barry Singer is coming up soon, so here are the details on how the AMA will go and what guidelines there will be.

At 6:00 PM EST on Wednesday March 29th, we will create a new official post to open up the AMA for your questions of Dr. Singer. All questions that you have for Dr. Singer should be posted as a reply to our original post. Any questions that are posted as their own thread will not be included as a part of the AMA.

During the AMA, we recommend that you click the “Follow Post” button directly underneath the official post and next to the “Like” button so that you will receive notifications of what questions have been posted and what the replies are, in case your question has already been asked by another member. In order to make sure that you are seeing the most up-to-date questions and answers, you will need to continue to refresh your browser to show all of the replies.

At the end of the AMA, we will lock the thread, so that no more questions can be posted in the thread. If you miss the AMA, we will keep the post on the community so that you can see all of the questions and answers from the session!

Guidelines for the AMA:

1. While we always strive to provide useful, up-to-date information on matters of concern to the MS community, the information posted in this Ask Me Anything session should not be used as a means of diagnosis or determining treatment. For diagnosis and treatment options, you are urged to consult your physician.

2. You can draw your questions from your personal experience, but please try to keep questions broad, and in terms of the general MS community.

3. Please try to limit your questions and responses to three sentences.

4. As always, please be respectful of other members and their questions.

See everyone at the Ask Me Anything on Wednesday, March 29th!

  • Hi johnMSAA and EmilyM375

Will Dr Singer be addressing some of the questions we already submitted at the start of the session so that we don't try to anxiously 😉😬😜 hurry to resubmit them as soon as the session begins?

Thank you to MSSA and Dr Singer for providing this wonderful opportunity!

  • erash see up 👆😁🌠

  • As Jesmcd2 pointed out, erash - yes, he is aware of some of the bigger topics that have been discussed on here this month. We will do our best to post a question or topic that hasn't been formally addressed, but it is always a good idea to ask your question if you don't see that it's been addressed already.

EmilyM375 also stressed above about another tip: make sure to keep refreshing the page and scrolling up to see if your question was already asked before posting.

See you on Wednesday at 6pm Eastern!

    - John, MSAA
