Hello! From a new person!

Hello! My name is Kathy and I was diagnosed with MS October 2015. Of course after hearing the diagnosis I started researching it and found out you can't trust everything you read. The best resources are others with it and the neurologists! I look forward to "meeting" you! Merry Christmas!

Hi Kathy, good to meet you. You are right about getting answers to questions from people who have ms, and you have come to the right place. Everyone here are always so friendly and helpful, but I am not so sure about the neurologists. Yes if you happen to find a good one, one who cares about you. Have a good Christmas, blessings Jimeka

I'll second you Jimeka! Everyone here is friendly and helpful. Some neurologists listen carefully and have thoughtful answers. Others, uh uh. Have a wonderful holiday season!

Hi Kathy! I think you have made a good idea about coming to this website. The ppeople here are great to communicate with and can answer many different questions and show plenty of empathy. Chances are pretty high that people here are going through some of the difficult and challenging times you may be going through, and we can try to help you get through it. Although we are not doctors, we can make suggestions ot how we may attempt to do different tasks and share ideas of things we have already experienced doing or know we shouldn't do anymore for the sake of our safety and well being.

Hi KATC1972 nice to meet and welcome to our wonderful chat! If l do say so myself 😊 Your right about about alot of misleading things on the net. My boyfriend used to get on all the time, and come back with, well she did that,or he did that, how come you can't .😑😕 It's a good thing he is still alive 😅😅😅

One of the best things about being here, is someone is probably going through the same thing and can relate. We are in the same boat after all. 😑😊

We also can get and give some great advice, and options you might not even know about.😁

Just always check with your Neuro and or PCP.

Some great info can be found at mymssa.com btw. ☺

Hope you're ready for the Holidays!

Welcome, Kathy, to the club to which nobody wants to belong. But if you are here, then take advantage of it. We speak freely, about every topic you can think of and then some; we share fun times and cry on each others' shoulders during bad; and someone is always on line because we are from all over the world! You will find that you aren't alone--if you are feeling weird or have symptoms you think are one of a kind, chances are good that someone here has had it. We come from all walks of life, from all manner of careers, from every kind of relationship with a significant other, you name it, someone here has done it or had it and is always willing to share, even in the middle of the night! And best of all, we are patients who walk in your shoes, so you will always find an understanding ear!
