I use a laundry detergent bottle it takes a long time to fill. Then i duct tape it after I close it.

You can ask your medicine provider for a sharps collector.

The containers are often free from your injection provider.

I ran into trouble disposing of the sharps containers! But recently I discovered there are these cool tools designed for diabetics that clip the needle off the syringe. It contains the clipped part and you just dispose of the syringe (check laws, of course.) So, now I'm just tossing the worthless syringe part.
