Supporting a significant other during COVID

I'm not new to OCD as my teenage son was diagnosed with having OCD a few years ago. I was concerned when COVID showed its ugly face, but surprisingly my son handled and is handling it remarkably well. Just prior to COVID I started dating a man who has not been diagnosed with OCD nor did he have OCD tendencies to my knowledge. Since COVID, he shows definite signs of OCD and I'm struggling with how to support him. I've been to support groups in the past for my son so I am very aware of how debilitating it can be and its a real thing, but I need advise and help on being patient with him. The part I struggle with is him not fully believing the information we are given regarding the virus. I want to see him but in order to do so I feel I am having to make sacrifices that I disagree with such as having lunch with a friend. I got COVID in December and according to my doctor I have the antibodies and should be protected for 3 months. I'm still very careful, but I don't isolate myself from my family and close friends which results in him not being willing to be with me. If anyone can give advice on how to love him through this, I'd be much appreciative. I'd ask my son who has OCD but he's in the Marines so we don't get to talk very often. Thank you!
