Acceptance and Motivation Script

Would anyone be interested in reading the acceptance and motivation script I wrote for myself a few months ago when this whole mess of OCD first started? I got the outline from a book by Jon Hershfield and it is still something I find helpful to re-read today. He provides four questions to be answered - one question per paragraph. Here are the questions:

1. What behaviors am I going to change?

2. What unwanted consequences am I risking?

3. What is the likely outcome of continuity to obey the OCD?

4. What do I value that makes it worth it for me to fight my Harm OCD?

Let me know if you guys are interested and I will post mine! It does not have to be for Harm OCD, all OCD is OCD and this is just the particular theme I struggle with the most.

I’m interested.

This is something that I want to do as well. For the areas where I still struggle the most, this could be a really helpful reminder of why I am fighting against OCD.
