Vaccines

Could I get some feedback on Vaccines that were recommended to me by a general practitioner? Recommended were Pneumovax 23, influenza, Tdap, Shingles( not a live vaccine) and possibly Mmr vaccine .

Ive had PV - jak2 617f positive in April of 2018 diagnosed . Im 57 year old female being treated with phlebotomy as needed and baby aspirin daily.

I have ET and live in Canada where the new shingles vaccine is not live, so last year I had it, plus the pneumonia vaccine and the flu shot. No problems with any, and as none are live there was no concern in that regard. I also had a couple of other shots before going to Mexico in Feb. a couple of the shots will need to be boosted in about 5 years, but the shingles not for at least 10.

I could not have the shingles vaccine as live, interesting to hear there is an alternative, I shall ring my gp and ask about that, thanks for the information.
