Interesting (and free) course to get the new year started

Happy new year to all in our wonderful MPN family,

I thought some of you might be interested in this mini course (MOOC) being hosted by FutureLearn. The course has been developed by the British Heart Foundation and is called " It Starts with Your Heart: Understanding Heart and Circulatory Diseases". I have completed quite a few courses with FutureLearn which have been high quality and provide the opportunity to ask / respond to questions from other (global) students and course mentors. It runs for 3 weeks, starting next week, and basically you can devote as much or as little time to it as you choose. Just to make it clear, I have no interest in FutureLearn other than as a student, and the only benefit I will get if you sign up is having a fellow MPN traveller engaging with the course.

I’ve just had a quick browse, and there are some very interesting short courses. I may consider signing up for one at a later date. I have studied with The Open University in the past and thoroughly enjoyed it.
