Fatigue, how I cured mine

Hi all

New to this forum, My name is Peter and live in the north east of the UK and have ET.

I was diagnosed 6 years ago and had all the symptoms of fatigue, through my research I discovered I was Magneaium deficient, I started supplements of Magneaium and within three days I had the energy of a 20 year old, my age is 67.

For the last six years I have been building up my reserves of Magneaium using flakes in the bath, mag oil and supplements, it can take a minimum of two years.

All my blood tests for Magneaium showed normal readings, blood tests are not a good indicator of your magnesium levels, as the blood just requires less than 1% of magnesium.

Magneaium deficiency is responsible for so many illnesses.

Peter

So glad you have more energy, Peter. However please be careful of your kidneys, I think too much magnesium could cause renal problems. Maybe any nurses here could comment xxx

Hi catwoman

I'll start with the rubbish you should NOT take Magnesium Oxide, it's a laxative, and less than 4% is absorbed, it can do you more harm than good, it's the one sold in all the chemists, drug stores and supermarkets in the UK.

A better one is Citrate but it is also a laxative, my wife takes citrate in a powder form called Calm, watch out for Oxide mixed with Citrate, anything with Oxide in it is not good for the body.

The best and one we take is Chelated Magnesium Glycinate, it has no laxative effect, I have taken 8 pills a day with no problems, I take two if I have a headache, we buy it online.

The best and cheapest way is to buy a 25kg bag of magnesium flakes and use it in the bath, if you have no bath make some mag oil and use half an hour before you shower.

Magnesium is needed by every cell in the body as well as the heart and also the brain, these are the biggest stores of magnesium, we are consuming too much Calcium in our diet which is causing a whole host of health problems.

Yes I told my doctor, NOT interested, I'm a livestock farmer and know more about minerals and vitamins than doc. Cattle get grass staggers and die within 36 hours if no magnesium is administrated.

My consultant haematologist was very interested, I told her she had a hospital full of sick people crying out for Magnesium, did she do anything about it NO!!!

Before someone posts, I know it's not just about magnesium, it's about finding a balance of all minerals and vitamins that a person requires and I think MPN patients have extra needs, magnesium is the one that gives you energy it is great for stress, anxiety, depression and a mag bath is so relaxing.

We take magnesium every day, if your kidneys are okay you should have no problems, it will be the day I die when I stop.

I will write a new post about my experience with Magnesium over the first two years and how Magnesium made me feel worse.
