Please share your experiences with Norco for pain. I have other issues that prohibit the use of NSAIDs.

Hi Jerry,

If Narco is the same as Vicodin, I've used it for decades. Until this past year it's what I always used for my really bad headaches (migraine & tension). I've used Narco (by the name of Narco) for pain following surgeries, etc. But I live in the U.S. where doctors are now extremely reluctant to prescribe it because so many people have abused it and perhaps became addicted to it. Even though I've used it for 30 years, I was never tempted to abuse it, nor did I ever get addicted to it. For really bad headaches I used to have to take 2 Vicodins & 4 Ibuprofen in order to be able to work. And I never became addicted. I've found it very effective for pain. My headache specialist has unfortunately switched me to Midrin & Tizanadine, one of which (I think the Midrin) costs $20 a pill.

There may be something milder than Narco & I know Vicodin comes in two strengths so I'd recommend you take the least strong pain med you're able to take.

Good Luck,

Katie

I received a question about Norco from you. Not sure how you did that. Anyway, I have Erythromelilgia/neuropathy/raynauds and occasionally use Norco, especially if I'm going to be on my feet a lot. But, it doesn't really help a lot. So, now I'm trying CBD, it's marijuana without the high, and it's legal in all states. You could check out CBD Oil Users Goup.....goggle it. Lots of info.
