Hi Muzza, bit fuzzy headed after injections but that's all I noticed. Drink lots of water. And get cosy.

I thought that maybe it would be comforting for you to know that most MPN patients only experience the side effects at its worse for a couple of days after injection, especially in the long run. So just to give you some hope and let you know that there is light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak - at least for most patients. So if you feel by now that it couldn't possibly get any worse, it probably won't - at least not when your body gets used to it. That getting used to it may however take a couple of months and quite a few injections. But just to let you know: Though it may not seem so at this moment, you will get through it, trust me. By the way, I am chairman of the Danish MPN patients organization with well over 700 hundred members. So I have gained a lot of feedback from MPN patients. I, myself, never really got over the side effects and am still suffering from it. But I belong to the 10-20 percent who do not respond well to the treatment. Most people do. Interferon is, actually, quite effective in my body, too, when it comes to fighting the JAK2 mutation. The side effects have, however, been rough on me. But chear up, Chances are you are like most of the patients, responding well to the medicine, right? Otherwise, remember to inject just before you go to sleep and consider pain killers.

Oh, sorry. Made the common mistake of writing you before I had read your answer. It seems you're actually doing quite well, all things considered. That's great news. Maybe the above can help other people, though.
