Occasionally, I get very dry skin in between my fingers which can lead to tiny little cuts and these are very irritating at times. I was prescribed epiderm which works very well.
I just wondered whether anyone else has the same problem and whether it's because of the HU or MPN?

I often have little cuts like the ones you describe between my toes. I have assumed it's the HU because my skin is very dry all over since I started on the medication. I use Simple soap and, now and again, Aqueous Cream instead of the soap. (Both v cheap.) Sallie
While I was on hu my skin was very dry, and would split around my finger nails if I didn't use lots of lotion, it's slightly better since I've been on Anagrelide. I developed awful ulcers and nerve damage on my toes, the ulcers cleared up once I was changed on to Anagrelide.
Yes I get this problem on my feet ,,very dry Scalia on my toes ..and now I get cracking soles ,,it sounds and it is ,very uncomfortable ..I wear warm sox .
And massage moisturiser into them ..nuisance tho !, Twinkly xx💜
I get reoccurring little cut at the back of one of my little toes it's very annoying ! I have ET and only on aspirin. It does go away if I use creams but it makes my toes very hot and itchy if I forget and it comes back.

I have incredibly dry and flaky skin on my legs.
I wake up n the morning sometimes and it looks as though a snake has been shedding it's skin in our bed! I change the bottom sheet almost every day.
However, I don't let it bother me ( although no nasty cuts thanks heavens )
To be quite honest I count my good fortune and say a quiet thank you to Him Upthere every day that I haven't anything worse than PV. I see some really sad and very poorly folk at Christie's - no hair, in wheelchairs.......
Have you tried lathering on the cream and then wearing cotton gloves at night?

My husband suffers with this. We have solved it by getting rid of SLS, parabens and other nasties from the bathroom and sink.
We use DriPak Liquid Soap Flakes as hand washing liquid, and use Waitrose Sensitive soap. Check the label, lots of washing bars are not soap.
We make our own economical laundry liquid from soap flakes, borax substitute and washing soda, and use vinegar instead of fabric conditioner.
