September 21st – Katherine Loughran, Pharmacist at the City Hospital, talking about medications used to treat MPNs
October 19th – Melissa Shaw, Clinical Nurse at the City Hospital, talking about clinical trials
November 16th – Dr Jyoti Nangalia, Consultant Haematologist at the City Hospital, talking about genetic mutations. Dr Nangalia found the mutations in CALR (calreticulin), you can read more on this in the MPDLife newsletter June 2014 edition.

December – NO MEETING HELD IN DECEMBER
The meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6 pm – 7.30 pm, in The Maggie’s Centre, Gate 3, Nottingham City Hospital Campus, Hucknall Road, Nottingahm, NG5 1PH. You, and your family and friends, are very welcome to come along to any of the meetings, which are very informal and free to attend, and offer you all a chance to meet other people living with a MPN, learn and share experiences and access information.
You do not have to book to attend the support group meetings, just turn up.

Cake sale in aid of MPN Voice – Tuesday 27th September 8.30 am – 12.30 pm
Angela and Maz will be selling cakes in the haematology department reception with all proceeds going to MPN Voice, if you would like to bake and donate a cake, or cakes, please bring them along, we would be very grateful. We would also love to see you on the day and share a piece of cake with us.
