Hi MicheleL, Hey gotta say what a top lass your niece Kayleigh is. Absolutely lovin the sentiment also the love and respect she expressed for you in the last para of her 'story'. . And the fact she is doing a challenge - actions speak louder than words. I looked up the challenge and it looks tough but fun with it just the sort of thing I would have done 30yrs ago.

Thank you for your lovely comment. I was diagnosed in April 2015 and since then she has been determined to do something to help and to help others even if it's just making people aware of PV as none of us had heard of it before. I'm so proud of her x
And so you should be proud. Raising awareness is important when you are dealing with these types of rarer blood cancers. It must boost your spirit to know that as she says she 'has your back'. I only wish some of my extended family felt the same way about me but I'm sad to say your niece puts them to shame. Take care x
