Is there anyway to rationalise or use logic for this?

Do you feel that God has blocked it knowing that it’s not for me?

It’s a major life goal or milestone such as graduation, learning to drive, buying a first house or marriage which is not going to happen and has to now be bypassed for something else.

Essentially an involuntary life without children through circumstance. I am not going to ever be a parent at the school gates, sitting in at nativity plays, doing the school run or be with two in the back of a car, but even when you see all of these happy smiling families when out and about and on social media, do you really know what is going on behind the scenes?

On a more emotional level, it is really that you cannot have you own natural family unit like most of the other men in church. I can’t have it and not by choice. I am shut out and excluded from that.

My wife is resigned to it and has taken the view that if it happens, it happens, and if not, it then does not. After 10.5 years of marriage and no children, the passage on time speaks for itself.

But the thing here is always thinking ‘why us,’ but similarly it’s nothing unique and could have happened to anyone as well, but due to circumstances and conditions here.

But why did not the prayer also work and deliver one either? Even if God is omnipresent and nothing is impossible for us, he still could not solve it for us and deliver a child.

The best way to understand this is if it had happened to yourselves but when our and about and looking around everyone else has them with ease. Then you know.

In real terms, it’s partly age and medical related, or things outside of our direct control. If your body can no longer do something, it’s no one’s fault.

Hi there, I’m feeling the same way. I have undergone some IVF cycles 2 of which is all I could afford and it didn’t happen. The problem with me is that I waited too long- by the time I had money I was too old and my eggs are too old! I kind of want to divorce my husband so he can actually try to have a go at it. Why should he suffer living a childless life with me when he still has a chance. God didn’t answer my prayers.
