Migraine and visual hallucinations
It was bed time anyway so I took my usual
migraleve
pinks (work for me) and got in to bed to sleep. It was the strangest thing I was having what could only described as a freak out - a semi conscious panic in which I could see visual hallucinations in the room.

Migraines!
Fortunately a neighbour had some
migraleve
. I'm in a bit of a mess as far as painkillers go, as they can often make the migraine worse! Fortunately the
migraleve
seemed to help, although I woke up at 2am with another milder attack. I took tablets straight away.

Been Given
Migraleve
which really helps but what else can I do to help minimise it? Does anyone else get these? I’m putting it down to stress because you know...story of my life 🤷🏻♀️🤣

Migraleve
seems to trigger my pancreatitis so haven’t taken them for years. I don’t know what more to try.

Alternative for migraleve?
I have had migraines for many years and have always relied on
migraleve
which worked well enough for me so that I often didn’t even need the follow up yellow tablet.

Hypothyroidism and alcohol
I take taken
migraleve
OTC medication for migraines but no avail. Can this be an intolerance to alcohol? I’m unsure if this can be connected to My thyriod or something completely different? A hangover certainly would last this long, and would usually go after paracetamol.

Somatoform Disorder: Now You See It (….. Now You Don’t!)
I have always worked on the principle that prevention is better than cure and if I could possibly get to the root of the problem that had prompted my GP to prescribe the
Migraleve
, that would, as far as I was concerned, be the preferred option. I mean, who wouldn’t do this?

Migraine on waking up.
Most of the time ever I get the aura first and if I take
migraleve
tablets I am able to control it. However in recent months on two occasions I have woke up, between 5 and 6 am with a migraine in full flow, aura and severe headache.

Opinions and advise
As the years went on it was noted by my pediatrician that I was suffering with stomach migraines (at the time) and was put on some type of
migraleve
. I do not know wether or not this drug was effective for me.

Migraleve
helped and I would sleep it off. The next day I was wiped out, and then felt absolutely fine until the next time. I am always asked what my triggers are, but I don't have any.
