After having a couple of vertigo attacks and continued daily dizziness and nausea I spoke to my ENT consultant on a phone consultation
I have had migraines with flashing lights most of my life , not as often now as I used to , I don't have pain just the lights
He seems to think I might have menieres and when I asked what test they would do all he said was a hearing test. Surely there are more tests than that .
Is this right . Would love some advice

I think it’s just a hearing test and judgement of your symptoms. They decided I didn’t have Meniéres, just migraine. My symptoms sound very similar to yours, I don’t have headaches, so it took years to be diagnosed with migraine.
