If you get the opportunity try Botox treatment after 25 years of chronic migraine I now have a relatively normal life, averaging just one migraine every few months. Previously I could have up to 15 attacks a month.

Definitely worth a try.

Best wishes

Have you tried imitrex injections or Naratriptan tablet. I have not been to the E.R. since having the injection. I now get occipital nerve blocks which are a God send. I get botox and trigger point injections as well. I'm new to this forum but I hope the info was helpful.

I've had many medications, nerve block injections, but botox is the best so far. I have this along with lamotrigine (sp), propranolol & sumbutriptan and it definitely eases them.

I've had migraines over 25 years. I now function better, the attacks are less frequent and they don't last as long.
