Metoject Pen
Back in August i was doing my normal Monday routine, injecting the
metoject
into my left thigh. As soon as i did i seemed to get a dead leg in the thigh area. Over the next week it never really went a way. In early December i had to go to hospital because i couldnt walk.

New Style Metoject Pen
hi all, What, if any, has been your experience of the new style
metoject
pens? I have only used two of the new ones. On the plus side they’re smaller and easier to handle but boy do they sting!!

Nordimet instead of Metoject
Hi, I have just collected my prescription and been given Nordimet instead of my usual
Metoject
. The actual device is different from the
Metoject
which I had to go to the hospital for training to use. Has this happened to anyone else and should I use it without being shown how?

I have reported to my pharmacist and

Metoject pen problems?
Has anyone else had problems with
metoject
pens? I have used them fine in the past but just had a couple which either were very tough to click and/or spurted onto skin rather than into. Have I just lost the techniqe or have others had problems lately?

Hi folks 🤗🦋I have successfully transferred from oral to injectable Methotrexate after a few teething problems I think I actually got the hang of it last Sunday! 😹 I have three injections left and am wondering how we reorder it. I was contacted by email after the initial referral from dermy and I was

Stopping meds before operation. 😏
I have been told to stop my meds because I have to have a lumpectomy on 8th May 🙄 I had to stop my Tocilizumab and Sulfasalazine 4 weeks before and my
Metoject
2 weeks before. I also had to stop other meds too: HRT (for good) and statin.

Increasing to 25mg Metoject
Hi Everyone, Just wondering if anyone has experienced going from 20mg to 25mg
Metoject
injections? I have been on 20mg for nearly 2 years which has worked quite well for me but sadly have now had a prolonged flare which is affecting nearly all finger joints in both hands, wrists and my ankle.

Metoject pen - faulty?
Been using
metoject
for a while now, about a year. A few weeks ago I got my delivery, & every single week when I pull the yellow top off, a few globs come out of the needle & sit in the plastic casing around the needle. Hmmmm.

Does anyone else get flares after MTX dose?
I have noticed for some time that i have increased joint pain and stiffness after my dose - 15mg
Metoject
- but today has been particularly bad. All my fingers are stuff, both knees really sore and also my neck (these are my worst areas though pain has been relatively well managed recently).

Methofill
I have returned the methofill to the Pharmacy and picked up the
metoject
this morning. Worth checking that your prescription does actually specify
metoject
to avoid the same thing happening to you! I hope this is helpful.

6th Covid jab
Could I ask around, what's your opinion about me taking the 6th dose of Covid vaccine if only on 15 mg
Metoject
and not being considered severely immunosupresed. Would you go for it?

Flaring up after Booster
I suppose I'm a bit wary as I will not be able to take my
metoject
for two weeks and also because ever since my mum had her booster last June, she has had constant problems with her right shoulder and arm.

Metoject and water intake.
Not sure if this is a silly question but do I need to increase my water intake when taking Methotrexate by
Metoject
. I know it goes straight into the bloodstream but I just want to be sure.

methotrexate leaking from metoject pen
any advice please??? I started the injection this morning but once it had clicked and the needle had dropped down, all the methotrexate was suddenly pooled at the base of the pen, on my leg. I quickly removed it, mopped it up and washed. The needle had punctured my skin but I don’t think any of the

Metoject pen first time.
I used my
Metoject
pen for the first time this morning. It would have been simple if my thumbs had any strength in them 🤪. I managed, felt absolutely nothing and wondered whether I'd actually done it.

More positive news from France
She's provided me with means to titrate my
Metoject
by giving me 2 prescriptions. One at 17.5mg which has worked well and one at 20mg. I will alternate for the next few weeks. I am shocked and pleased that she still feels there can still be some improvement in my hands.
