Coming out to a spouse or bf/gf

Has anyone came out as bi or gay to a partner? If so how did it go?

A spouse? It's a betrayal to go through a marriage ceremony, and THEN come out! C'mon. Is there another way to look at this? You discuss this stuff before saying vows!

My daughter came out to me via text message. I am ashamed to say I didn't take it well . But she is now engaged and I couldn't be happier for her. I think it is a generation thing and hopefully it will die out one day

I came out as gay to my ex wife but we were divorced for the past 15 years and she told me she knew all along but we’ve remained really good friends over the years
