Hello Charlotte, I am sorry to know that you are going through panic. I have some experience with panic attacks and I’ll help you the best I can. Do you have a smartphone or computer at the moment? If you do please go to youtube and watch an ASMR video for anxiety ASAP. It has worked so many times for me and I still watch these when I feel overwhelmed. If you have someone you can talk to, that helps too. Just tell them how you feel and what you fear. Finally let me tell you that this moment of panic will pass and you will feel better again! You are not alone!

Hi Charlotte. I feel your pain, anxiety is soooo horrible. Ive been hospitalised with it before. I recommend The Honest Guys self meditation videos. Especially the one for anxiety. It does help reduce panic. Also have a look at Dr. Claire Weeks on You Tube...she is a pioneer in anxiety and mental health and her talks give excellent help and advice. Its old fashioned but her theory on self help is fantastic. Good luck and i hope you feel better soon x

Hi Charlotte I hope you watched the video recommended by MrsMisty and Joeyman. I struggle with the same issue regularly. It’s hard to sort it out yourself so actually listening to some form of guided meditation is the best way. I’ve tried all sorts but always rely on this form of soothing. Your not on your own. Totally overwhelming at times. Try not to worry to much and practice the recommendations from the videos. The calm app is really good as well. It has all sorts on it. Best app out there for me. Hope it passes soon. Hope you are okay and take care xx

I'm replying because I've also loved someone for 6 years, for that relationship to end because she fell for someone else and her moving to a different country. I now live with my grandparents, and they're 84 & 85, neither of them is guaranteed to wake up tomorrow. I've got a few true friends, and some that come and go. I'm in between jobs. I don't however feel any fear or anxiety over this. Over potentially losing anyone or anything. It's not that I think your feelings aren't justified, but there's a way not to feel that way. It's by accepting what could be, what can be and realising it's not as terrible as it seems. Nothing is. Fear is paralysing, and a natural reaction, but you can overcome your natural impulses through meditation and insight. Just like I feel I have. Accepting the fact you could lose everything, is not easy, but if you can... If you truely can detach yourself, you can be free of these emotions. If you can't enjoy what you have for fear of losing it, you're stuck in a loop, and only you can re-center yourself, to appreciate everything for as long as it lasts, and accept everything will have an end. It's not easy by any means but what I preach is stoicism. Change the things you can, accept the things you can't and I wish you the wisdom to tell the difference between those things. If you want to talk to me personally, if you feel like I can help you, feel free to PM me. Best of luck and strength. You will get through this phase. I promise.
