I have a severe stomach disorder that requires surgery. I talked to my surgeon earlier this week and he said that because of Covid I might have to wait 8 weeks.
Low and behold his assistant called me and I have a surgery date for less than two weeks.
This disorder I have gives me about a 2 hour window and then I’m totally exhausted the rest of the day.
So I’m super excited that my surgery is less than 2 weeks away.
Thanks for listening 😎🕶

Good luck. Yes, elective surgeries are being delayed, but it sounds like somebody advocated for you that you need it sooner.
I am going in Jan 4 to have my heel rebuilt. Car accident last year. Second surgery. Long story. I chose Jan 4 because I wanted to get through the holidays and a little more work time before not being able to walk or drive for a few months.
Is it laparoscopic with little holes and cameras or a full incision? If it is a full incision, I would recommend renting a lift recliner that has a motor to get you into a standing position to transfer to walking or a wheel chair.
