Why can't All Americans have legal access to Medical Marijuana?

I am new here. I signed up a while ago but have never really posted anything until today. I am trying to learn to live and live to learn. My depression, anxiety, random panic attacks, ADD, and PTSD, are all on my plate. What are my most severe issues and problems? All of them "rears their ugly little heads" at random times, but no particular thing stands out above all of the rest. I wish I knew why ALL states cannot or will not legalize Marijuana, for everyone who knows personally and first hand that all of our prescribed medications tend to work for a short time and then suddenly stop working. I'm so very tired of being a Guinea pig for over 40 plus years, trying so many Man-Made drugs that eventually fail to work long term. I have to use marijuana illegally to feel better and risk getting a criminal record by doing so. How is this fair that only people residing in certain states can have access to legally use a tried and tested natural medicine, while the rest of us have to live under the radar to feel better and risk legal battles if caught using our God-given, natural medicine? I am at a loss in the fairness of this dilemma, to be and feel better with natural medicine, versus man-made pills that do not work as well or in the long term. This is so totally unfair for All Americans!

Totally agree with u and have replied to others suffering also who cannot get legal use n Ive made a post in the past about same issue.Let me say..I do use it legally n my state is med n recreational legal BUT let me say..the hell I get put thru to get my license renewed yearly,how I'm treated by doctors be a use I use it..is another story.People don't realize..just because ur state is legal,it's still federally illegal.

U become a prisoner to ur state.I can't travel with my medicine ,can't smoke it in my car or in a parking lot if I need it asap...and etc...

Laws do need to change because too many people r dying from prescriptions n illegal meds.

We can get above medications designed to help with various problems with active chemicals taken out of the make up of the drug, so we do not have the same problems people have while taking the actual weed. We still cannot aquire this stuff untreated legally in the UK so you have to be able to stand on street corners to aquire the stuff, I would love to try it for chronic pain although I need to rely on Opiates to keep me going.

I feel it is all down to political.

So sad 😢. I guess that they would rather have that Almighty Dollar, for the Pharmaceutical companies to create addicts, versus letting what works as a natural medicine, no side effects, Non addictive, and scientifically proven to help in multiple diagnoses and/or disorders. Unfathomable to ban law abiding, tax paying individuals the right and choice to use a natural medicine to feel better. Seems cruel we possibly could get a "drug" charge etc. just because it's the only thing that truly works for a lot of us who depend on it to just get through some days without a panic attack, etc. Instead they think that throwing useless and addictive drugs down our throats! Ok 👌 I am done venting for now. Sigh! I was actually told by a treating provider that they wish that they could prescribe it it only it weren't illegal. My Goodness folks, when will they realize the wonderful potential of being able to feel better, without bothering another soul in the process. Happy ☺to know that I am not alone. Give us our right to choose! 🙃

I saw something about the House voting to decriminalize marijuana recently. That’s a step at least.
