I was diagnosed with pseudo psychotic symptoms 6 months ago and I seem to get hallucinations of cats and shadows. I also get auditory hallucinations which make me do harmful things and scream in my ears if I don’t forfill their wishes. I also get really bad impulses telling me to hurt my dad and I get visions of what they want me to do. My main problem I have right now is that I’m swallowing glass daily which isn’t great but I’m on a high dose of quetiapine which helps calm things down. I’ve also done an 8 month intense day treatment which has improved my day to day life dramatically. I feel like if i multi task I.e read a book whilst listening to loud music through headphones really helps drown voices out and my mind is distracted from hallucinations and distractions around me. It takes a lot of practice but has worked for me really well hope this helps x
