The rabbits have the run of my conservatory only locked in their cage at night and luckily our Jack Russell is amazing with them... in fact my grey rabbits beats the living crap out of him sometimes lol so I have to worry about the dog getting hurt more than the rabbits... anyway I thought I’d let the dog outside but in fact I only let him in the conservatory lol after getting a drink I went to let him in and found this 😂😂😂😂😂😂 he stayed there until the rabbit had enough of him in her cage and chased him out 🙈🙈😂😂 does anyone else have crazy animals?

I couldn't imagine my dog being in a cage with rabbits or any other pets.

I posted it as a bit of light hearted fun as it’s cool that he gets on with anyone and anything that’s all a bit of humour for the group 🙃

This reminds me of my old cat and our house rabbit. We used to have a large run in the utility room for the rabbit to live in and every time we lifted the lid of the run to feed him my cat used to jump in the run and curl up in the rabbits bed!!! Much to the disgust of the rabbit!!

I could swear the cat did it on purpose to annoy the rabbit!

There was one time that the cat ended up asleep in the chinchilla cage and the adult Chin and her 4 babies ended up in the outside running around the room.

That particular cat always managed to get herself into a lot of trouble unlike any of our other cats! Our vets said it was partly due to her being a Burmese and partly due to her being a Tortoiseshell that made her a bit crazy 🤪

Haha oh bless animals do, do the weirdest things. If the rabbits eating and the dog goes up to her bowl she chases him off kicking her feet and she really means it. She’s so good orientated and needs to go on a diet as she’s twice the size of our other rabbit lol she’ll be as big as the dog soon the way she’s going haha

We used to get the stamping back legs too, and all the cat would do is curl up in a tighter ball and wrap her tail around her head!!

Haha my grey rabbit is more like a dog and my black one is just the sweetest most innocent thing ever, the grey one on the other hand is into everything she even jumps in the radiators and throws stuff off if I have clothes drying . Cleaning her out is a fun task as she jumps on me the dustpan and brush, the hoover, the rubbish bags lol u name it she’s in it and if u tell her off she kicks and storms off she’s so funny. Your shouldn’t have favourites but with her character u just can’t help it. Like with the black one she’ll cuddle on your lap on the sofa and lay down for hours, the grey one will sometimes lay for hours but other times she’s like nope nips u jumps off the sofa locks her feet and then it’s a game off chase her out from under the coffe table 😂😂😂 it’s a mad house here to be fair lol

I have a very large dog who thinks he can sneak up on my cows and they wont see him. When he tries..the mamas charge the fence to protect there babies and at that point u see a bolt of lightning running for his life. All my big boy wants to do is get a quick sniff n possibly a kiss on the nose.Probably not gonna happen with them.

I have tons of cottontails and jack rabbits on my property..unfortunately..wild,destructive AND my big boy does not want anything to do with them.He rather enjoys laying in his XL beanbag chair during the day ,looking out the window at them.

I have tons more wild animals roaming about, but nothing I could scoop up and cuddle :(

Your dog may be enjoying those rabbits now but he may also be sizing up a midnight snack at some point.Id keep a close eye on ur cute little dog..he may have a master plan, lol

Haha he’s never left with the unattended except the time the rabbits opened their cage and they had a good time beating each other up in the conservatory , or this time when brain fog led me to believe I’d let him all the way out instead of just to the conservatory lol but overall he just wants to play and can’t understand why he gets kicked in the face a lot or why she jump 3 foot in the air when he licks her nose ( the grey one hates that but the black one lets him lick her they’re kinda best friends lol).

What dog do you have. I was always bought up with large dogs and have sworn from a young age I’d never have a small dog, I was actually on my way to get a leonberger when I saw him on a post online and I took a detour and went to see him as he looked far too small and low and behold I had him 2 days before I had to rush him to the vet as he almost died. He was only 4-5 weeks old and luckily the vet let me bring him home on the promise I could wean him every 2 hours. It was hard work but he really is my little baby who is 5 this year lol. I did report the seller but am unsure of the outcome.

I’d love to live in a place where I could have cows and wildlife around your so lucky

I too thought the same thing.Had my little guy almost 13 years.Miss him every minute, since last August.

Ooh Leonberger..yes.. beautiful dogs. I also love Mastiffs and especially the Neopolitan and the Chinese version.

But..I have my big guy "Squishy Bear".A very large and very tall German..german shepherd, whos father was a Noble champion. With me..hes just a big silly moose...anyone else, hes very intimidating and scary at first sight of him.Hes my buddy.

Should be a pic of my boy on a xmas post I made this past year,if u would like to see him.

Cows and wildlife is great, but very isolating.

I grew up with German shepherds they are undoubtedly the best dogs in my opinion. One of ours was pure black and towered over the others, he was a great family pet however if anyone came anywhere near us he would attack. My mom was a dog trainer and she even took him to police dog training and they said he could never be changed he wants to protect his own and that is it and advised her to use a full check chain to help hold him and basically deal with it but he was amazing ( except for the time he jumped through our double glazed full length door to get to the postman) luckily the post man got away before the dog caught up with him lol there was never a dull moment in our house growing up. German shepherds boxers and ever a bull mastiff x Doug de Bordeaux it was normal for mom to always have 3 dogs at a time
